City of Grand Rapids – Water/Environmental Services Facility

The City of Grand Rapids’ Water / Environmental Services Facility is the first municipal owned facility in the State of Michigan to reach LEED certification.  This facility harnesses nature and technology to provide a day-lit, energy efficient working environment.  Employee acclaim has pushed the City to incorporate many of this facility’s ideas into future projects.

Kentwood Branch Library

The Kentwood Branch of the Kent District Library is the primary library in the Kentwood area. The new two-story library features an open plan and to promote reading, learning, and community activity.

63rd District Court

The 63rd District Court consolidation project was a joint project with Redstone Architects that aimed to combine two locations into a single modern courthouse facility. The new facility brought a more secure and efficient building for the county.

City Commission Chambers

The renovation of the City Commission Chambers located in Grand Rapids’ City Hall created a new, updated look for the first time since the city hall was built in the 1970’s. The renovation included a state of the art technology control room as well as the chambers and commissioners offices.

Kentwood Justice Center

The Kentwood Justice Center serves as the Kentwood Police Department and the 62-B District Court for the City of Kentwood. The Justice Center contains an intricate program of security, circulation and public embrace. Post Associates, in conjunction with Redstone Architects, created a warm environment while fulfilling the intense requirements of public service.
